Changeover to the Euro

Is searching for amount-´fields in Access-Databases to convert it with the wanted rate.
Is searching in forms and reports for constants (such as "DM" or "$") and change them.

So you can make a copy from your mdb-file and represent price lists or accountancy in different currencys.

Overview for analysed databases:

In the next window you put in the rate of exchange and the arithmetic operation (* = multiplckation ==> EURO in DM, / = division ==> DM in EURO) and the currencysign to change. This values will be suggested for the single fields. Access works for amount fields with the format currency and get the currencysigns from the country-specific values form the windows-system-control. If you want to change the whole system, you must change the country-specific values. If you want to change only this Access-database you can use the "Change Currency against:"-field for change the currencysigns in this database.

Revaluateparameter:

in the testversion the rate of exchange is hard coded, in the fullversion you can specify it yourself.

By pressing the button you can choose the database, which should be analysed.

All tables would be searched for currency- and numberfields. For currency and numberfields with 2 decimal places the suggest value in the processfield will be set to b= to process, otherwise n.

With standard-rounding you define the numbers of decimal places after the conversion. Allowed values are N for no rounding, and 0 or 1 - 5 for rounding of the result. We recommend to use this function, because the exchange rate can have more decimal places than the field. Later you can set this value for each field.

By pressing the button relavuate in the mask database-overview the program do the changes. Every processfield with b will get the value V.

By usage of the €-Sign every fond-type must espouse this sign.

The function rename can last longer. For every form or report you have to calculate 3 upto 10 seconds.
